
Healthcare Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a current Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) to play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire recruitment process for Grade 2 Registered Nurses, Endorsed Enrolled Nurses, RUSONs/RUSOMs, and healthcare workers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating recruitment activities, ensuring a consistent pipeline of skilled nurses and midwives to meet the operational needs of the health service. They will also collaborate closely with Nurse Unit Managers, Midwifery Unit Managers, and Facility Managers, to ensure that recruitment practices align with department requirements.
Additionally, the role will involve supporting staff transition within the health service, including internal transfers, casual positions, pool placements, post-graduate programs, and other transition initiatives. The successful candidate will also oversee the recruitment team and ensure the implementation of sound and effective end-to-end recruitment processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Be responsible for planning and coordinating recruitment activities, ensuring a consistent pipeline of skilled nurses and midwives to meet the operational needs of the health service.
- Collaborate closely with Nurse Unit Managers, Midwifery Unit Managers, and Facility Managers, to ensure that recruitment practices align with department requirements.

Requirements:- Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
- Proven experience in recruitment and workforce planning, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a team and drive results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
