Project Manager Role

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our project delivery team. Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for delivering projects in accordance with agreed objectives, standards, and schedule.

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a Project Management role or significant experience as a Senior Contract Administrator.

You will be responsible for leading the project team to achieve budget and delivery targets. This will involve participating and leading meetings with internal and external groups, delivering effective financial management for the project, and identifying and managing risks in the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team to achieve budget and delivery targets
  • Participate and lead meetings with internal and external groups
  • Deliver effective financial management for the project
  • Identify and manage risks in the program
  • Oversee the project contracts administration
  • Maintain and manage safety responsibility for the site
  • Coordinate activities for Project Completion
  • Support activities in the Defects Liability Period
  • Support tender submission activities when required
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Prior experience in a Project Management role or significant experience as a Senior Contract Administrator
  • Demonstrated understanding of construction and design methodology, project management principles, and delivery methods
  • Working knowledge of WHS best practice and legislative requirements
  • Effective communicator and relationship builder
  • Understanding of how to drive, develop, and maintain safety behaviours
