Are you a skilled warehouse leader looking to take your career to the next level? Thiess is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at the Peak Downs Project.
This permanent full-time opportunity offers a 5/2/4/3 roster and a competitive salary package. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient management of warehouse operations, supporting maintenance and site activities through effective inventory control and materials handling.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and influencing the team to ensure the warehouse is appropriately stocked and resources are used efficiently.
- Leading, coaching and developing team members by setting clear expectations.
- Establishing, maintaining and promoting high standards of customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Cordinating deliveries with carriers and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- Maintaining stores efficiently and ensuring Inventory is optimised so that parts and equipment for mobile fleet and fixed plant are available to meet organisational and maintenance targets.
- Management of stores inventory and coordination of periodic stock takes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven leadership and people management skills within a warehouse supervisor role.
- A High Risk Forklift Licence is essential.
- Exceptional organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Prioritising and problem-solving are second nature.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel is vital.
- An understanding of the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations.
