About the Role

This is an impactful position for a senior pricing expert. The candidate will contribute to the strategic pricing ecosystem by partnering with internal teams and driving innovation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end pricing across commercial underwritten lines portfolios.

  • Play a key role in technical modeling with commercial analysis to deliver pricing solutions that balance expected performance with market demands.
  • Build, implement, and maintain rigorous pricing models while providing actionable insights that drive value for the business.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting and portfolio teams to determine pricing positions and monitor strategy effectiveness.

As a senior pricing expert, you will contribute to governance through peer review and continuous improvement, leveraging broader data and tools across various sectors to enhance pricing excellence.

Your Responsibilities
  • Translate complex pricing models into clear recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the strategic pricing ecosystem by partnering with internal teams and driving innovation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' work experience with 1+ year focused in general insurance pricing or reserving.
  • Proficiency in actuarial IBNR and statistical techniques.
  • Tertiary qualifications in actuarial science, statistics, business, or a related quantitative or commercial discipline.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, R, Python, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Pricing Models

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, implementing, and maintaining rigorous pricing models.

These models will provide actionable insights that drive value for the business.
