About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Broker Development Manager to join our team at Great Southern Bank. As a key member of our Chief Customer Office, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our purpose of helping all Australians own their own home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a structured call plan to build excellent B2B relationships with a portfolio of brokers, generating Home Loan applications and settlements in line with our three-year business plan.
  • Be the primary account contact for aggregators, focusing on growing market share and promoting Great Southern Bank's products and services.
  • Build awareness of our products and services, application process, credit policy, and service proposition through regular contact and ongoing training of brokers.
  • Represent Great Southern Bank at State-Based Development events and regular calling strategy to regional brokers to extend our reach and promote our purpose.
  • Provide quick and efficient support to brokers regarding policy and process inquiries, including deal structuring and scenario questions.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in banking/financial services, with a strong background in broker and aggregator networks.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of implementing structured call plans and delivering sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of credit assessment and residential home loans.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or Banking-related subjects (desirable).
  • Relevant lending qualifications and knowledge of financial services Codes and Acts.
