We are seeking an experienced registration officer to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the sustainability and growth of our business by ensuring new WorkCover claims are registered accurately and on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have strong organizational skills. As a registration officer, you will be responsible for managing time effectively, prioritizing responsibilities, and working independently with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, organise workload, and prioritise responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong initiative and capacity to work independently, supported by effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Victorian legislation, associated regulations, and medical terminology relevant to workers compensation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to quickly adapt to WorkSafe systems such as NOVUS, ACCtion and Tempus.
- Experience providing high quality administrative support, with exposure to insurance or workers compensation highly regarded.
About You:
- Superior time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- A high level of initiative and capacity to work autonomously with minimal direction.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with a sound understanding of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of Victorian legislation and associated regulations, with experience in insurance or workers compensation desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to utilise WorkSafe systems such as NOVUS, ACCtion and Tempus.
