Job Title: Cyber Security Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the NSW Government's response to Cyber Security risks, providing expert technical advice to protect the integrity and accessibility of Government data.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Implementing and maintaining the NSW Government cyber security posture through provision of expert technical advice and direction.
  2. Performing technical assessments of information and cyber security controls and vulnerabilities to produce compliance reports and recommended actions.
  3. Providing expertise on information and cyber security risks, threat and vulnerability reports, penetration test reports, solution architecture designs.
  4. Reviewing outcomes of security breaches to maintain compliance with whole-of-government cyber security policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Maintaining up to date knowledge and understanding of current and future NSW cyber security environment including threats and vulnerabilities to information, assets and services.
  • Developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships to ensure oversight and value to cluster agencies from a Whole of Government cyber security perspective.
  • Having strong cyber governance, assurance and reporting experience, preferably in a government environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the protection of critical information across the state.

Key Qualifications:

  • Citizenship of Australia.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline or higher National Security Clearance.
