Job Description

Star HR is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in a rewarding and well-supported role. This opportunity is perfect for a passionate Speech Pathologist looking to work in an educational setting with a non-profit organisation located in the lovely Granite Belt region of QLD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech, language, communication skills, and educational needs.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to address students' specific objectives and challenges.
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in group settings, to support students' growth and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment and support inclusive learning practices.
  • Provide training and support to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' needs.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy interventions as necessary to ensure continued growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Qualification in Speech Pathology (with SPA membership)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities, preferably within a school or educational setting.
  • Current driver's license and car is a MUST, as you will be travelling between Stanthorpe and Warwick visiting various schools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
