Chief Information Officer Role

The Chief Information Officer is responsible for leading the development and delivery of IT strategies aligned with business goals, driving innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.

About the Role
  • Develop and Deliver IT Strategies: Develop and deliver IT strategies that drive innovation, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Lead Technology Initiatives: Lead technology initiatives to enhance customer experience and business performance.
  • Oversee Cloud Architecture: Oversee Azure cloud architecture and cybersecurity, ensuring compliance with Essential Eight Level 2 standards.

This role requires a highly experienced technology executive with a postgraduate qualification in Information Technology and/or Business Administration, and at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in IT, including 5 years in a CIO or equivalent role.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals.
  2. Lead the deployment and optimisation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (FinOps) and Customer Engagement (CE) platforms.
  3. Oversee the development and implementation of digital transformation initiatives, including eCommerce, data analytics, and automation.
  4. Ensure cohesive enterprise architecture and system integration across the organisation.
  5. Safeguard business-critical systems with high availability, robust disaster recovery (DRP), and business continuity planning (BCP).
