The Opportunity

The role of the Senior Event Technology Strategist is to provide high-end technical expertise and guidance throughout the entire event production process. This involves being a resource for the entire team from event inception to final delivery.

You will be responsible for the effective supervision of crew members in the delivery, installation, operation, and removal of audio-visual equipment required to operate shows of any size and difficulty. Additionally, you will provide technical consultation and advice to the business.

Responsibilities

- Develops and maintains event schedules within specifications, estimating labour, equipment, and transport requirements.
- Ensures appropriate costs are recharged to specific jobs, including production, double time, site surveys, and crew overruns.
- Provides cost estimates and checks out-bound estimates daily in areas of specification, equipment availability, and suitability.
- Conducts site surveys as required, consulting with internal stakeholders.
- Acts as a role model for crew members.

What We Are Looking For

- Demonstrated competency in operating audio-visual equipment;
- Experience with Hybrid and Virtual events;
- Customer-centric and excellent customer service skills;
- Strong lighting abilities and knowledge of Grand MA, Advanced seamless switching experience, Camera Setup, video and data networking, LED Wall setup and programming;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- High standard of personal presentation;
- Riggers Ticket (highly regarded)
