Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position responsible for the routine maintenance and servicing of various fire safety measures, including sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency warning and intercom systems, and others.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for the Fire Protection Industry and a willingness to implement Occupational Health and Safety principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service fire safety equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Sprinkler systems;
  • Fire detection and alarm systems;
  • Emergency warning and intercom systems;
  • Fire hydrant systems;
  • Fire hose reels, portable fire extinguishers, and fire blankets;
  • Fire booster pumps;
  • Fire and smoke doors;
  • Passive fire elements;
  • Emergency and exit lighting systems;
  • Other essential fire safety measures.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role;
  • A driver's license;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Eagerness to learn and upskill;
  • A genuine passion for the Fire Protection Industry;
  • A willingness to implement Occupational Health and Safety principles.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) accreditation;
  • FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) certification;
  • A current blue/white card;
  • The ability to use Uptick and FireMate software;
  • An EWP license.

Working Conditions:
