
Fire Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician to join our team.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time position responsible for the routine maintenance and servicing of various fire safety measures, including sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency warning and intercom systems, and others.
- The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for the Fire Protection Industry and a willingness to implement Occupational Health and Safety principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and service fire safety equipment, including but not limited to:
- Sprinkler systems;
- Fire detection and alarm systems;
- Emergency warning and intercom systems;
- Fire hydrant systems;
- Fire hose reels, portable fire extinguishers, and fire blankets;
- Fire booster pumps;
- Fire and smoke doors;
- Passive fire elements;
- Emergency and exit lighting systems;
- Other essential fire safety measures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role;
- A driver's license;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Eagerness to learn and upskill;
- A genuine passion for the Fire Protection Industry;
- A willingness to implement Occupational Health and Safety principles.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) accreditation;
- FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) certification;
- A current blue/white card;
- The ability to use Uptick and FireMate software;
- An EWP license.

Working Conditions:
- This is a day shift position working Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability;
