Job Title: Music Program Coordinator

About the Role:

The Primary Music Coordinator will play a key part in delivering high-quality music programs for students. This is a part-time role, with a focus on coordination and delivery of ensemble, music, and performing arts programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a music teaching component to your role, coordinating four periods per fortnight and ten periods during production years.
  • Effectively manage the ensemble, music, and performing arts programs.
  • Be organized with strong reporting skills and computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Teach Music and coordinate music and performing arts programs.
  • Hold current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
  • Maintain high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Align with the values and ethos of Christian education.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Good organizational and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to teach Music and demonstrate experience coordinating music and performing arts programs.
  • Current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
