
Safeworking Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate project manager to lead our rail safeworking initiatives. This role combines deep knowledge of rail safeworking rules and procedures with the ability to conduct audits, assisting with the theoretical and practical training of safeworking to trainees with leadership and organisational skills required to deliver business-related projects on time, with a strong safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities- Drive compliance with Rail Safety National Law (RSNL) organisational standards and applicable Rules procedures and regulations.
- Provide coaching mentoring and guidance to frontline staff aligned with rail safeworking rules procedures and business standards and expectations.
- Develop project plans manage stakeholders track milestones and deliver results.
- Conduct safety briefings toolbox talks and training sessions to embed a proactive safety culture.
- Proven experience in rail safety operations or compliance within the rail industry.
- Strong track record in project management ideally with formal qualifications.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with ability to coach and engage at all levels of the organisation.
