Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, schedules, and safety protocols for employees and the general public
  • Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Assist in developing project instructions and maintaining communication with superiors and subcontractors

Requirements:

  • A trade carpenter or tertiary qualification in construction
  • Proven track record working with a reputable contractor
  • Previous experience working on commercial new build projects
  • Relevant OH&S and IR knowledge
  • Solid organisation and communication skills
  • Proven experience as a Foreman with contactable references
