About the Role

Brisbane Girls Grammar School is seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our Academic Administration Department. This is a full-time, term-time position.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to the Deans and Associated Deans with the day-to-day management of the School's academic programs.
  2. Offer quality administrative and organisational support within the Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support team, including:
    1. Scheduling Year 10 career planning meetings.
    2. Scheduling QTAC planning meetings.
    3. Supporting Individual Learning Plans.
    4. Arranging Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support meetings and taking minutes.
    5. Arranging Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support Events.
  3. Provide reception and front office services to the Tertiary Pathways and Learning Support hub.
  4. Respond to client queries in person, by phone and by email, using excellent customer service skills.
  5. Maintain appropriate systems and procedures to enhance the accuracy, timeliness and presentation of administrative requirements.
Requirements
  1. Relevant qualifications in office/business administration.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, in a medium to large organisation.
  3. Demonstrated advanced computer skills, including a sound understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel and database systems (e.g. TASS).
  4. The ability to organise and complete multiple tasks with close attention to detail, accuracy and prioritisation to meet deadlines.
  5. The ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
