About This Role:

Maintenance technicians perform a variety of tasks in an industrial environment. They work on complex equipment and systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance technicians are responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts
  • They troubleshoot complex equipment and system issues using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
  • The technician collaborates with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and safety

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Australian Trade Qualification in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent experience is required

An unrestricted electrical licence is also necessary

Solid mechanical aptitude and previous maintenance experience are essential

Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders are required

Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems, automation, or Maximo CMMS is advantageous

Able to work in a cool room/freezer environment

Ability to think critically and solve problems independently
