About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Devsecops Engineer to join our team at Kmart. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud environments and developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise to work with our development teams to ensure security is present in the development process from the start.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security tools to detect vulnerabilities early in the development process.
  • Implement security best practices in cloud environments (AWS) and containerised platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Mentor engineers to build solutions using best practice secure coding practices.
  • Identify security gaps and strategize mitigation plans, ensuring robust cloud security.
Requirements
  • A strong background in integrating security practices within Dev Ops pipelines, with a deep understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Hub).
  • Hands on experience with creating Cloud Formation templates, SSM documents for various tasks including creating bakehouse images, agent deployments and other automations.
  • Knowledge on AWS cloud native security tools.
  • Hands on experience around best practices and implementing/configuring security controls (encryption, key management, SSM, Network security, IAM) for cloud workloads.
  • Knowledge of specialist Dev Sec Ops/Cloud Security tools like WIZ, Prisma Cloud and SNYK.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with developers, operations, and security teams.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security technologies, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
