Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished music teacher to join our team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional teaching skills and the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one or small group music lessons (instrumental/vocal)
  • Develop lesson plans tailored to students' individual needs and goals
  • Prepare students for examinations, performances, and competitions as required
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in music education or performance
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in private music tuition
  • Proficiency in teaching piano, guitar, violin, bass, or vocal training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages
  • Current Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience with AMEB, ABRSM, or other music examination syllabi
  • Ability to teach multiple instruments or vocal styles
  • Experience with online music tuition preferred but not essential
