About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Clinician to join our mental health team in a key leadership role.
- Provide clinical oversight and risk management within our Crisis Support Service.
- Support and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Deliver expert mental health triage and ensure appropriate referrals for clinical care.
- Collaborate closely with emergency services and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Foster strong relationships with service providers to enhance referral pathways and treatment access.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment that upholds the dignity and well-being of consumers and carers.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to evaluate and evolve our service.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A four-year Psychology degree (Honours or Graduate Diploma) and registration with the relevant professional body.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Psychology (Masters or Doctorate), or significant progress toward completion.
- Appointment as an Authorised Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP), or a demonstrated commitment to completing the requirements for appointment.
