About the Role

Our Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) service is seeking an experienced sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced clinical ultrasound expertise and leadership in delivering high-quality patient-centred care.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sonography, with experience in MFM and advanced clinical skills. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves performing complex ultrasound procedures, interpreting images, and making diagnoses. The successful candidate will also contribute to education and research initiatives within the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced clinical ultrasound expertise to the MFM service
  • Liaise with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to education and research initiatives within the service
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results
Requirements
  • Qualifications recognised by Australian Sonographer Accredited Register (ASAR)
  • Post Graduate Qualification in Ultrasound or equivalent
  • Accredited with Australian Sonographer's Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
  • Medical Radiation Professionals (AHPRA) registration
