Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to deliver a major fabrication project.

This is a fixed-term contract opportunity with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate engineering activities to support successful delivery of the fabrication phase.
  • Develop and manage the project's fabrication plan.
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality workmanship.
  • Review and interpret project drawings, BOMs and technical documents.
  • Conduct quality checks.
About the Role

The Project Engineer will play a key role in the success of this project.

They will be responsible for coordinating engineering activities, developing and managing the project's fabrication plan, and liaising with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality workmanship.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Structural or Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience in fabrication engineering within oil & gas, mining or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of metalworking techniques.
  • Proficient in CAD software and project management tools.
  • Familiar with Australian Standards relevant to fabrication and construction.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
