We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Operations Specialist to contribute to the financial wellbeing of millions across Australia by helping prevent cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

About This Opportunity

This is an exciting chance for you to join our team as a Cyber Security Operations Analyst in Sydney. Your role will involve conducting in-depth analysis of cyber threats, triaging security alerts, and responding to incidents. You will also work with cross-functional teams to deploy security appliances and implement proactive measures to increase our organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of cyber threats and vulnerabilities to identify potential risks to digital infrastructure
  • Triage of SIEM alerts and continuous improvements through detection creation and tuning
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to assess security controls, recommend improvements, and ensure compliance
  • Development and implementation of proactive measures to increase security posture
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in security operations, incident response, or similar operations security roles
  • Experience in triaging and responding to a range of security alerts and incidents
  • Proficiency in technologies such as antivirus, EDR, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and endpoint security solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
