About the Role

Cumberland Council is seeking a skilled Maintenance Crew Member to join our Reactive Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the public domain within the Cumberland City Area, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-presented for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to high-priority requests for maintenance duties, including town centre cleansing, parks, streetscape, and verge maintenance.
  • Perform minor road and footpath repairs to ensure the area meets community expectations.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with peers, customers, and community organisations to deliver maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in general maintenance duties.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team with good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer focus with sound customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate multiple electronic devices and complete relevant administration tasks.
  • Current class C driver's licence and relevant certifications.
