Role Summary
Our organisation is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for assessing and developing treatment plans for participants with various disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational therapy programs for individuals with physical, emotional, and cognitive disabilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Conduct assessments and provide advice on environmental modifications to facilitate participant independence
- Participate in professional development and receive regular supervision to enhance skills and knowledge
- Engage in group supervision and workshops to stay up-to-date with best practices
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Passion for working with people with disabilities and their families
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in paediatrics is highly desirable
