We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory and Tax Services team.

Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a diverse client portfolio and tackle technical and strategic challenges. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and review tax returns and financial statements for various entities, including large and audited businesses.

  • Prepare and review tax returns and financial statements
  • Prepare and review BAS, GST, and FBT returns
  • Advise clients on general accounting and taxation matters
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A relevant degree in Commerce, Accounting, or similar
  • At least 3 years' experience in Australian public practice accounting
  • CA or CPA qualification (completed)
  • Strong understanding of tax technical issues within a business advisory context
  • Confident communication skills with experience in face-to-face client interactions
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • A team player who enjoys mentoring junior staff
