About the Role

Aptella is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Regency Park. This is a full-time permanent role that will see you working closely with our Region Manager to deliver high-quality services and maintain exceptional customer experiences.

This role requires a high level of personal responsibility and autonomy, as you will be responsible for carrying out machine system installations and repairs for customers. You will work primarily onsite, with occasional phone or remote support activities. Installation and support will focus on Machine Control Systems and site solutions, including 2D/3D automation, machine payload weighing, and machine safety systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission machine control systems and equipment onsite and in our workshop.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot complex machine systems and attachments.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for equipment, ensuring it operates at optimal levels.
  • Servicing & maintaining equipment to prevent downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver customer training programs to enhance their understanding of our products and services.
About You
  • We are looking for trade-qualified Auto Electricians, Heavy Diesel Mechanics, or Light Vehicle Mechanics with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude and fabrication skills are essential, as is a deep understanding of Electrical and Hydraulic systems.
  • You will have the ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations, while displaying a high degree of professionalism and positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, outcome-focused, and performance-driven are key qualities we are looking for in this candidate.
  • A sound knowledge of computer skills and Microsoft Office applications is also required.
