Cloud Solutions Architect Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to contribute to a major digital transformation program. This is a long-term opportunity based in Canberra, offering a hybrid working model.

  • The successful candidate will lead the team to drive delivery across systems and platforms using Azure-based solutions.
  • They will apply strategic and technical expertise to enhance existing applications and develop new cloud-enabled solutions.
  • Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships, project progress, and governance compliance.
  • The architect will provide leadership across DevOps, CI/CD, risk management, and technical documentation.
  • Mentorship and building capability within the team is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Contribution to election readiness activities and broader organisational goals is expected.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Strong experience implementing Azure enterprise IT solutions including IaaS, Serverless Compute, Azure Functions, Web Apps, BLOB/File Storage, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure AD, Azure B2C, API Management (APIM), and Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience migrating solutions to Azure platforms, with a solid understanding of risk management principles in an infrastructure context.
  • Analytical capability with a track record of driving change and business improvement strategies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders across a geographically dispersed team.
