About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing commercial opportunities for our research discoveries.

  • Assist in the preparation and assessment of intellectual property disclosures using a defined analytical framework.
  • Coordinate related commercial intelligence gathering activities for the purpose of determining market opportunity, competitor landscape, health economic data, and product-market fit for selected research discoveries.
  • Play a supporting role in identifying, initiating, and progressing discussions with industry partners on key research innovations.
  • Work closely with our legal team to identify and make recommendations for consideration on key legal agreement clauses in relation to research IP and commercialisation.
Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline relevant to our strategic programs.
  • A high level of analytical ability and computer research-savvy, especially within complex datasets.
  • Minimum three years of scientific research experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively about opportunities for the commercial development of research IP and ideas.
  • Proven team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
