Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and possess relevant experience with automated press machines, troubleshooting tool and machine-related errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate automated press lines to produce tops and bottoms for drums
  • Record production data, report machine downtime feedback, and maintain accurate records
  • Troubleshoot automated press lines, perform maintenance or report required maintenance to the line leader
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment according to site standards

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a current Forklift Ticket
  • Be able to pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and fitness assessment
  • Prior experience in machine operation
  • A mechanical Trade qualification or exposure highly desirable

Preferred Attributes:

  • Fantastic communication skills
  • Ability to work long hours, Monday to Friday, with overtime as required on weekends
