As a senior coastal modeller, you will be responsible for undertaking national-scale to coastline-specific coastal processes assessments, hazard studies, coastal zone management plans, engineering assessments, dredge studies, beach nourishment designs, erosion assessments, and coastal inundation/storm tide modelling and mapping.

About the Role
  • Requires over three years of demonstrated experience in wave modelling, hydrodynamic (tidal/surges/cyclone) modelling, or sediment dynamics.
  • You will work with a team to develop models that simulate coastal processes and predict potential hazards.
  • Contribute to coastal zone management plans, engineering assessments, and other projects related to coastal development and conservation.
