About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Events Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Howard Smith Wharves. As a key member of our Events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of events across our waterfront venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the guest experience and continually look for opportunities to improve
  • Lead and coach a diverse team of people, ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything you do
  • Visibly active on the floor, leading by example and supporting Food and Beverage Attendants to be the best that they can be
  • Assist guests with any feedback and action accordingly
  • Have a high knowledge of the product produced in venue
  • Coordinate and manage the logistics of bump-ins and bump-outs for events
  • Set up venues according to client specifications, ensuring all equipment and facilities are ready
  • Oversee the smooth operation of small events, from start to finish
  • Liaise with vendors, clients, and staff to ensure seamless event execution
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during events and coordinate quick solutions
