As a member of our Defence operations team, you will be operating in a complex and sensitive setting where professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control – Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site
- Foot Patrols – Conduct regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats
- Stakeholder Liaison – Build rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a strong security presence
- Incident Response – React promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour
- Compliance Monitoring – Ensure site protocols and Defence security procedures are followed at all times
- Reporting & Documentation – Accurately record incidents, shift activities, and observations in line with site requirements
About the Role
We are seeking a confident and capable Security Officer to join our Defence operations team at a secured base in Brisbane.
This critical role involves protecting Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access control, and a strong on-site presence.
