Job Title: Site Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Site Security Specialist to join our security team at Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe environment for clients and customers at our site.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
  • Identifying, reporting, and recording risks while on shift.
  • Assisting customers with various inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Utilizing strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Undertaking conflict resolution and de-escalation methods to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Maintaining a complete understanding of workplace protocols, including emergency procedures.
  • Regular foot and vehicle patrolling, as well as CCTV monitoring to deter potential incidents.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following criteria:

  • A current Queensland Security License.
  • A current Unarmed License.
  • A current Crowd Control License.
  • A current Monitoring License.
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
  • A current Driver's License.
  • Flexibility to work within a rotating 24/7 roster.
  • High personal integrity and grooming standards.
  • Ability to work events and adapt to changing situations.
  • Practical verbal and written communication skills.
  • Incident management and reporting skills.
  • CCTV monitoring experience.
  • Well-developed client service skills.
  • Customer Service experience.
