Established in Sydney, our esteemed client is a respected global leader in payment and risk management solutions, offering a comprehensive range of international payment and foreign exchange services. They are currently seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Financial Trade Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service
  • Soliciting orders, pricing, and executing trades via client instructions using telephone solicitation techniques
  • Collaborating with Sales Support staff for onboarding processes
  • Working alongside back-office staff to resolve potential compliance, operational, or credit issues
  • Supporting sales personnel in generating, motivating, and driving sales efforts
  • Creating revenue through open trading deals
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly revenue and new account targets set by your supervisor
  • Conducting ongoing analysis of new and existing client portfolios
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through prospecting, market analysis, and networking
  • Maintaining adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Insight and experience in protecting the company's commercial priorities while driving client relationships
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional deportment
  • Experience in the field of foreign exchange services
  • Strong mathematical skills

Authority and Responsibilities:

You will have the authority to:

  • Negotiate and book trades - most offices deal with spots and forwards only
  • Solicit business on behalf of the organisation

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
