Stock Management Specialist Job Description

This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual to oversee the stock management process end to end.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage inventory from receipt to allocation, including supplier orders, inter-store transfers, price labelling, and storage.
  • Ensure accurate stock counts and identify discrepancies between systems and physical stock.
  • Liaise with purchasing and store teams to optimize stock levels and prevent overstocking or understocking.
  • Routinely inspect storage areas for safety, cleanliness, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with the online store to meet customer expectations for order fulfillment and Click and Collect services.
  • Contribute to health and safety initiatives and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Detailed knowledge of stock management processes and inventory control systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols.
