Job Description

SLR Consulting is a global Environmental and Advisory consultancy with a renowned reputation for delivering exceptional environmental and design services on a wide range of strategic and site-specific projects. We have a diverse team of environmentally based disciplines consultants across Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and North America.

Our local Landscape Architecture Team is based in Brisbane (Meanjin) and located in the heart of the city adjacent to the Brisbane River. They form part of a Global Landscape Architectural, Visual Amenity and Urban Design presence in Australia and NZ, UK and the Americas.

We are seeking applications from qualified Landscape Architects with circa 2-5 years' experience who can contribute to a wide range of project types across landscape architecture, visual assessment, Masterplanning and urban design.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our award-winning and industry-recognised Landscape Architecture and Visual Amenity team in Brisbane. As a successful candidate, you will display high-quality technical abilities, a passion for great landscape design, environmental and sustainability-based outcomes, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to a wide range of project types, including client and proposal management, concept design, documentation, and construction services. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside interrelated disciplines and talented professionals in the Environmental, Planning and Geo-spatial teams, across Australia and Internationally.

Requirements

  • A recognised qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  • Eligibility and willingness to be registered as a Registered Landscape Architect.
  • Circa 2-5 years' experience within a consultancy or similar Landscape-focused team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with other professionals and clients.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
  • Ability to develop strong professional relationships.
  • Commitment to environmental, cultural and social responsibility that is conveyed in your design outcomes.
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite software.
