National Procurement Manager

Ventora Group is seeking a highly skilled National Procurement Manager to oversee all aspects of our indirect spend category and acquisition. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our success.
As a National Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for securing the best services and products at competitive prices for our nationwide operations. You will manage supplier relationships with key service providers and manufacturers to ensure we adhere to all relevant Australian building codes and regulations.
You will play a key role in our continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline procurement processes and optimise overall indirect material purchasing costs. You will also be required to regularly review, plan, and execute in-market delivery programs to maximise service level, safety and performance in our organisation.
The role has the ability to be based at any of our sites located in various locations across Australia.
About YouWe require a Procurement Manager with a background in building products or manufacturing, expertise in manufacturing services, utilities, market trends, and negotiation strategies is crucial in order to secure cost-effective and timely services and supplies to meet demands.
You will have:
- Experience in procurement category management
- Tertiary qualifications in Inventory/Procurement e.g. APICS or CIPS along with Accounting, Business, Commerce or equivalent, desirable
- Experience managing third party carriers for ocean freight and customs is required
- Experience implementing plans and deliver outcomes consistently within a multifunctional environment
