About Our Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of VENTORA Group as our National Procurement Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the acquisition of indirect spend categories and services, ensuring we secure the best possible products and services at competitive prices for our nationwide operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage supplier relationships with key service providers and manufacturers to ensure adherence to relevant Australian building codes and regulations.
  2. Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and optimise overall indirect material purchasing costs.
  3. Play a key role in our continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring we deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.
  4. Review, plan, and execute in-market delivery programs to maximise service level, safety, and performance in our organisation.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of procurement services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement category management, preferably in the building products or manufacturing industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Inventory/Procurement, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to influence external suppliers and service internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing third-party carriers for ocean freight and customs.
