Job Summary

A skilled Floor Covering Installer is required to provide high-quality services in laying floor coverings across various settings. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of experience in installing floor coverings, including offices, homes, and businesses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install carpet on walls and ceilings.
  • Measure rooms and draw up specifications for carpet installation.
  • Remove and dispose of old flooring effectively.
  • Lay out samples for customer selection.
  • Fasten tackless strips to floors accurately.
  • Install padded cushions correctly.
  • Roll out, measure, mark, and cut the carpet efficiently.
  • Position the carpet and stretch it to fit perfectly.
  • Cut off excess carpet and frays neatly.
