Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support based on individual needs and preferences
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, community access, and general day-to-day activities
- Build meaningful relationships with clients to foster trust and communication
- Promote independence and empower individuals to achieve their goals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in disability support or a related field (preferably)
- Completed qualification of minimum Certificate III Disability or Individual Support (Ageing and Disability)
- Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable car
- NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one
