Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Leader to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for delivering complex electrical engineering projects from concept to completion.

You will lead electrical engineering projects, manage client expectations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions. Your expertise in electrical services engineering and industry standards will be essential in ensuring compliance and quality requirements.

Your leadership skills will be crucial in mentoring junior engineers, fostering new client relationships, and driving business growth. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Australian building services consulting, with a strong track record of leading complex projects and managing client expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ)
  • Extensive experience with complex electrical services engineering
  • Practical knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and National Code of Construction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven project, organisation and time management skills
About You:
  • You are passionate about mentoring and coaching junior engineers and designers
  • You have excellent project management and coordination skills
  • You are able to build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal teams
  • You have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
