The Associate will deliver technical and sector-specific guidance to both domestic and international firms regarding their strategic options. The successful candidate will play a key role in executing a wide array of corporate advisory projects, collaborating closely with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute the complete spectrum of responsibilities associated with investment banking at the Associate level. Collaborate with various sector and product teams to carry out buy-side and sell-side M&A as well as debt and equity capital markets transactions (both cross-border and domestic, public and private) while providing strategic counsel to corporate and private capital clients. Assist in the drafting and preparation of client presentations, board reports, Information Memoranda, Prospectuses, and other client-related documents. Engage in transaction execution, due diligence, negotiation, and support throughout the process. Work alongside senior professionals to perform financial analyses, including financial statement and valuation assessments; assist in developing financial models; conduct company and industry research. Support corporate finance activities, which encompass M&A, equity issuance, IPOs, leveraged finance, and other debt market transactions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce or a similar degree-level qualification. Several years of experience in corporate finance and strategy, with a strong preference for specific investment banking exposure. Experience should ideally include executing both sell-side and buy-side M&A (covering cross-border and domestic, public and private); preparing client presentations using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; conducting financial valuation analysis and constructing financial models; performing industry and product research; analyzing corporate and financial data; and participating in the execution of M&A and financing transactions. Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication abilities. Solid understanding of corporate and investment finance principles. Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in all aspects of work. A proactive self-starter, capable of working independently as well as collaboratively. Client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders throughout transactions. Mentor and support the development of junior staff. Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and financial modeling techniques. Strong grasp of M&A processes, ideally possessing end-to-end experience in managing and executing transactions.
