We are seeking a highly skilled Freedom of Information Adviser to join our team at the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. As an FOI Adviser, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of Freedom of Information requests, subpoenas, and other requests for child protection information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and other relevant legislation to retrieve, analyse, and process information in response to requests for records.
- Assess information for release, apply exemptions where required, and make decisions on the release of information.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve complex FOI requests and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
What You'll Need

- Strong understanding of the Freedom of Information Act and other relevant legislation.
