About the Role

Infinite Care is seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at our Southhaven aged care facility. As a Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility's maintenance and gardening needs are met to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake general day-to-day maintenance activities, including landscaping and garden maintenance, general repairs, waste removal, painting, and test and tagging.
  • Ensure all emergency, preventative, and corrective maintenance is carried out in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate contractors working on site when required.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all maintenance requirements at the facility.
  • Provide exceptional client service skills to ensure success in the role.
Requirements
  • Previous gardening and maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills and prioritization of work schedules.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to apply).
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
