Pega Developer Job Description

HCM Australia is seeking a skilled Pega Developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Pega Developer to work on the design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions using the Pega Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and architecture of Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC) based solutions.
  • Responsible for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with PRPC Best Practices and Pega Guardrails.
  • Build scalable, high-quality code using established practices and aligning with standards and industry best practice on cyber security.
  • Build responsive and accessible user interfaces.
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvements in the development space.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues by debugging and providing root cause analysis.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in development and delivery using Pega 7x and 8x features and components Case Management, Data Management and UI.
  • Demonstrated understanding of various Pega Rules – Ex: Activities and Flows, Declaratives, Decision, Validation, Reports, UI.
  • Experience with Pega Cloud, Pega Decisioning and Pega frameworks such as Smart dispute, KYC and Collection frame works.
  • Experience on using Tracer, Clipboard, SMA and Live UI.
  • Excellent understanding of latest Pega architecture including Enterprise class design, Application layer cake, Data Modelling and Rule resolution.
  • Experience in integrations with REST-based services.
  • Experience with SQL databases like Oracle or MySQL or MSSQL, database modelling.
  • Good to have knowledge on Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and technical concepts.
