As a key member of our team at Macquarie, you will be responsible for driving the use, adoption, and modernisation of Pega across our Banking and Financial Services division. Our Pega platforms play a critical role in delivering orchestration and workflow across key areas, including Origination, Servicing, Payments, and Collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Center of Excellence (COE) for Pega, overseeing the modernisation team and driving the decoupling of monolithic architecture into a service-based architecture.
  • Chair the architecture and engineering forums, ensuring our platforms are designed for high availability, reliability, and best-in-class monitoring and observability.
  • Develop and implement standards, drive OOTB consumption, and promote best practices to increase re-use.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Engineering and Product, as well as key business stakeholders, to drive the best use of our Pega investment.
  • Design and deliver our Pega strategy and roadmap, ensuring seamless delivery and product development.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in developing and managing large-scale technical platforms, leading and mentoring engineers.
  • Track record of defining architectural guidelines and best practices, chairing technical guilds and forums.
  • History of providing design recommendations that leverage high OOTB functionality and re-use across multiple platforms.
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders to align business requirements to software solutions.
  • Track record of owning and delivering change from inception to production.
  • Excellent understanding of Pega best practices and architecture.
  • Understanding of AWS or GCP is advantageous.
