About the Role

This is a Full time position that offers a stable and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our team, responsible for planning and achieving business goals, managing the warehouse team, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Goal Setting and Achievement: Develop and implement business plans to reach our targets.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Build a positive work culture and manage the warehouse team.
  • Process Management: Ensure all company policies and processes are followed.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Make sure we meet all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Relationship Building: Work closely with different teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Staff Scheduling: Prepare work schedules to ensure we always have enough staff.
  • Logistics Management: Ensure deliveries are planned in the best possible way.
  • Vehicle Support: Coordinate after-hours support for delivery vehicles.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee product storage and ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Maintenance and Cleaning: Ensure warehouse maintenance and cleaning are up to standard.
  • Documentation: Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.


Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role should have:



  • Supply Chain Knowledge: Understand how our supply chain works and the challenges involved.
  • Human Resources Expertise: Familiar with HR processes and legal requirements, especially safety and employee relations.
  • Food Safety Regulations: Knowledge of laws for perishable food products.
  • Continuous Improvement: Experience with improving methods and processes.
  • Community Awareness: Understanding of government, industry, and community programs.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead, influence, and bring about change.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent at talking, writing, presenting, and negotiating.
  • Thinking Skills: Good at logical and creative thinking, with a knack for innovation.
  • Warehouse Systems: Skilled in operating delivery vehicles and warehouse systems.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and other communication tools.
