At Ecolab Healthcare, we are seeking a talented appliance repair technician or someone with similar experience to develop a rewarding career in the medical equipment service and repair field.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Melbourne based field service technician with relevant transferrable skills to join our team and contribute to healthcare infection control. Our products and services help customers save lives and improve patient outcomes.

As a valued member of our Healthcare equipment service team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance servicing on complex infection control machinery in hospitals, day surgeries and life science facilities located in metro and regional Victoria. You will report directly to the Victorian Service Team Leader and form part of our growing and vitally important team.

Alongside service and maintenance responsibilities, we have major projects coming soon to the region, and you may also be involved in capital equipment installations, commissioning, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance servicing on complex infection control machinery
  • Report directly to the Victorian Service Team Leader
  • Contribute to major projects and equipment installations, commissioning, and validation

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills and solution-based approach
  • Experience in mechanics, electronics, electrical motors, industrial washers/washing machines, or dishwashers
  • Knowledge of pneumatics, steam or pressure valves would be beneficial
  • Restricted electrical license
  • Positive attitude with great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders
