Senior Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Digital Risk team in Melbourne.

As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside our engagement teams to advise CIOs, CISOs, CDOs, CTOs and CROs on managing Digital risks.

You will gain exposure to a wide variety of clients across different industries, including government, consumer, telecommunications, utilities, and higher education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the coordination, planning, and delivery of various engagements that may include Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Governance, Data Privacy, API Security, Business Continuity Management (BCM), third party risk management and more.
  • Collaborating with other team members to plan the engagement which includes developing scope of works and a risk and control matrices; and other planning documents.
  • Serving as a fieldwork leader by directing the daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors and the client of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
  • Using knowledge of the current Digital environment and industry Digital trends to identify risks and issues the client may face and communicating this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' of relevant experience in internal or external audit and/or risk management from an IT, financial and/or operations.
  • Keen problem-solving skills and business acumen, including time management, spoken and written communication, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • A curious mindset and a 'have a go' attitude.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and relationships effectively.
  • A logical and structured approach to challenges, projects and documentation.
