Job Overview

The primary function of this role is to design and implement advanced security systems tailored to the specific needs of major projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop electronic access control systems (EACS) and CCTV systems for large infrastructure projects in Sydney, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments to determine optimal camera placement and equipment setup, taking into account technical requirements and project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that security systems are effectively integrated with other project components.
  • Provide expert guidance on electronic security matters to stakeholders, providing solutions that meet project objectives and timelines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, electronic, controls, mechatronic, computer science).
  • At least 5 years' experience in EACS and/or CCTV, including extensive knowledge of system design principles.
  • A proven track record in project engineering, delivering technology-based security projects on time and within budget.
  • Prior exposure to a site-based construction environment, with a strong understanding of relevant safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain necessary security clearances to access project sites and sensitive information.
